Luna's rants

an aside from the commentary section, this is my complaints page. other than that, its just a tad of random thoughts.

why are so many series that are nearly done, get stalled? mataku, hayaku na.

argh. I want to watch some series pretty bad. how is it, then, groups will put links up to the tracker, then...BAM, it'll just timeout. =.= seriously. upgrade your tracker bandwith a little if your that popular.

haha. the opinion around fansubbing is "dont complain. if you want it better, do it yourself." =D I'm volunteering to. but apparently nobody wants to help haha.

note to self: watch anime.
why? because I have (literally) 50 or so episodes waiting for me to watch them. >_<"

remember Mary K Laterneau? no? she was the teacher found guilty of "raping" her 12 year old student. its a crime to have sex with underage children, but love by any other name...

one of the things I found quite...interesting about Yume Tsukai, was how it explored if "love" was really so wrong. despite this and that, people who are truly in love...is it so wrong for them to be?

anyway, sometimes it's a pain to know slightly more japanese than the next person. its useful, but...mendokusai yo.

its also a bit unsettling when my normal random phrase comes out as japanese. I nearly got in trouble for that a couple times. the funnier version being this.

once I was out witjh a friend of mine, and we were walking around in a mall. we stopped to look at something, when I became painfully aware of everything the two people beside us were saying in japanese. so you know, me and my friend were talking, then suddenly I said "ousotsuki!" by reflex. I cover my mouth like the embarrased idiot I am, as the two beide us turn and have the "you too?" look on their faces. after apologizing profusely for whatever, and my bad grammar, I walked away in a hurry. my friend, being slightly able to understand some japanese as well said; "hey slow down, onee-san wa bijin lah" with a grin. "really?" I replied. "yup" he said back. "well, you can go back and get their numbers if you want, cause those werent girls"

yep. sometimes...I dont know lol.

the thing about the list...it doesnt have to be the top-rated, but the favorites. Speed Grapher was an excellent series, very well done but it doesnt mean it has to be one of my favorites. at the same time, the general consensus was that WHR was "okay" and yet it remains one of my favorites.
